Shaughnessy Village
Urban Discovery
I discovered Shaughnessy Village somewhat by chance, while walking from Saint-Henri to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
As I crossed its streets, I was struck by the quiet yet arresting presence of historic houses, particularly along Tupper Street.
This unexpected detour became an anchor point: I wanted to learn more, I read, and then I returned.
Camera in hand, I walked through the neighborhood several times, driven by the desire to understand what, here, endures through time with elegance.
